Mission: Fit - APP

This is a free mental health app with supportive information, resources, tools, and services as well as a built in community. I developed the app so that everyone could have access to free help. In the US alone we have approximately 28 million uninsured who have limited or no access to mental health supports.


We hope Mission: Fit app and the Warrior Wellness community will help support your healing journey and help you manage your energy more effectively.

Benefits of Yoga On-Line Article

  • Recently, more research studies are finding that yoga techniques, when delivered in a trauma-sensitive manner specific to the needs of the veteran population, are having a positive effect on PTSD symptoms.

  • A study funded by the U.S. Defense Department and led by Sat Bir S. Khalsa, PhD, an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, found that a consistent yoga practice over t10 weeks showed improvement in PTSD symptoms via a clinician-administered PTSD scale.

Veterans Rally Point(Easter Seals)

Veterans Yoga Project is on a mission to support recovery and resilience among veterans, military families, and communities.


VYP began when Dr. Daniel J. Libby was working as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Yale University Department of Psychiatry at the West Haven VA Medical Center, Connecticut.

While providing psychotherapy for veterans recovering from PTS(D), he found that those who developed empowering self-regulating practices had better outcomes — they moved through post-traumatic stress to post-traumatic growth more quickly and gracefully.
