Upcoming Veteran Equine Program

April 18th thru June 6th

 Saturdays 1:00pm-2:30pm

  • Mental Wellness: Reduces symptoms of PTSD, depression, and anxiety by providing a calm, non-judgmental environment for emotional processing.
  • Rebuilding Trust and Safety: Because horses are prey animals that respond to subtle human emotions, they help veterans with trust issues and hypervigilance, mirroring their own emotional states.
  • Emotional Regulation & Mindfulness: Activities require veterans to stay present, helping them manage triggers and learn to slow down.
  • Social and Confidence Building: Working with horses helps break down social isolation, enhances communication skills, and rebuilds confidence and a sense of purpose.
