Description of Organization: The UConn Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV) opens the door to economic opportunity for veterans by developing their competencies in the many steps and activities associated with creating and sustaining an entrepreneurial venture. The program is offered at no cost and brings together a dedicated UConn community of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and others to rally around this group of exceptional individuals. 

Programs Information: Three Phase Supportive Program. Designed to give veterans :

 1. Practical training in the tools and skills

 2. Creation and growth and

 3. Establishment of a support structure.

Connecticut Veterans Rally Point, a program of Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern CT that offers free services to veterans and their families. Services offered include: Behavioral Health Services, Employment Assistance, and Wellness Programs.

Metal Detectors 4 Veterans, Inc. has a  mission to give veterans suffering from PTSD and other related conditions the opportunity to focus on a hobby that encourages them to get outside, exercise, and enjoy the fellowship of other hobbyists.
