Welcome to Guardians Farm
- We are first generation dairy farmers who do things a little differently. We open our farm to the public on so you will see where your dairy comes from.
- Come meet the cows producing the delicious milk you drink. Meet the farmers who milk the cows twice a day, process that fresh milk at the farm and bottle it for you to enjoy.
- We love engaging with our visitors and teaching them about how and why we raise our animals the way we do. You can even make reservations to cuddle with our dairy calves.
At our farm stand we offer several products from other small local businesses and farms.
Our coffee from Great Minds Coffee Roasters in Oakville, CT is just what you need to get the day started. Our wildflower honey from Stonewall Apiaries is perfect either on its own, on some toast or right in that cup of Guardians Farm coffee. Maple Craft syrup is just what your pancakes and waffles have been begging you for. Maplewood farm has some amazing seasonings for everything from chicken and beef to a delicious toasted bagel in the morning also enjoyed with you cup of GF coffee

UNITING VETERANS TO BUILD AWARENESS, BUILD COMRADERY AND PREVENT SUICIDE
What: Military Member & Vetreran 22k Hike
When: September 20th 2025
Where: 980 Chestnull Hill Road South Glastonbury, Connecticut
Why 22 kilometers? In the hearts and minds of these military veterans, it is simply a reminder that they lose 22 veteran and/or active duty brothers and sisters from suicide every day.
MCL Det. 40’s mission is to unite veterans and service members from all branches and walks of life to enjoy the camaraderie they had shared while serving. Together, they integrate their passion with purpose to combat suicide in the veteran community. Each year’s hike is designed to join these forces to support the fight to end veteran suicide and to support veterans and their families as they transition back to civilian life.

Metal Detectors 4 Veterans
Metal Detectors 4 Veterans, Inc. is a New York State 501c3 Public Charity Organization. With a mission to give veterans suffering from PTSD and other related conditions the opportunity to focus on a hobby that encourages them to get outside, exercise, and enjoy the fellowship of other hobbyists. We accomplish this with new and donated metal detectors, equipment, and volunteer instructors. MD4V and its volunteers work to give suffering veterans - and their families, a new interest that will help to replace dark thoughts, anxiety, and depression.

Metal detecting can be a therapeutic hobby for people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as it allows them to engage in an activity that can be calming and meditative while being outdoors and exploring new environments. It can also provide a sense of accomplishment and purpose as valuable or historical items can be found. Research has shown that engaging in hobbies such as metal detecting can be beneficial for people with PTSD as it provides a way to distract from negative thoughts and feelings, reduce stress, and improve mood.
